The Dutch Jenny de Blecourt left for Bali in 1985, where she settled with her family. Living near the Indian Ocean and among the rice fields, she was inspired by the Balinese myths and legends, the inhabitants, the overwhelming nature and the scents of the tropical rainforest. She started making jewelry and soon needed local help.
Who would have ever thought that the JoyjewelleryBali brand would become such a success. What once started with Fimo bracelets sold on the beach of Bali has now grown into an internationally hip brand with happy customers all over the world.
Together with her Balinese colleagues, she makes beautiful necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings of silver or gold, sometimes decorated with gemstones.
